Meet Whitney Jackson
Tell us about yourself, what brought you to Coupeville?
My name is Whitney Jackson, I am a Student Assistance Professional here at Coupeville school district. I started last fall. My job here is to provide one on one support for students while also going into classrooms. I give presentations surrounding substance use prevention, mental health and wellness, and coping skills. I also support the counseling department and meet with students asking for additional help. There are many complex needs of the middle school and high school students and it takes a great team to provide the best environment and learning experience for them to thrive. I like to encourage resilience, competence and making healthy choices. I love my position here and I hope to continue.
