Meet America Rodriguez
Tell us about yourself, what brought you to Whidbey?
My name is America. I have lived in Oak Harbor my whole life. I’ve always had lots of care for the people here and know lots of great resources around. I really enjoy helping people and supporting families. I love helping people make positive changes in their lives and finding the right resources for everyone. Making a difference in our community and being a part of Island County makes me very happy.
Why is supporting children that are served by the Island County Human Services/Public Health important to you?
It is important because we help people stay healthy and positive. We can help them and provide the resources that family need.
How does support to the Student Support Service Resource Fair help you make a difference in family's lives?
It helps them make a difference by helping them share all the information they need. Helping them stay on track and positive. It helps family’s grow and make it easier to understand why we are here and we can help them connect with all the great resources.
What other message would you like to share with our community?
We can all make a difference by connecting with all these great resources. All these benefits can help our community stay safe and healthy!
How Can You Get Involved?
