Meet Dannette Beckley
I attended Coupeville School from K-12, graduating in 1984. At that time we had a class called Community Resource Training (CRT) which allowed students to explore possible careers. My interest for Law Enforcement was sparked during CRT. After earning my AAS I moved to Bellingham where I served the community for 32 years. My favorite assignment was as a DARE Officer, assigned to the elementary schools. It fueled my passion for kids. I volunteered to coach youth sports when my daughters were young to stay connected to the kids.
In June I had the opportunity to move back to my childhood home. I have a freshman attending CHS and jumped at the opportunity to be involved with the Foundation. Supporting students and staff as we all work together to continue building a healthy community is a highlight of being back in Coupeville! I look forward to the opportunity to continue serve this school and this community! Go Wolves!
