Circumnavigate Whidbey 2020:  Socially Distant!

Circumnavigate Whidbey is a fundraiser for Coupeville students. All money raised supports teacher grants for educational enrichment, college scholarships, and financial resources for students in need to equally access activities and learning opportunities. In the past three years, this event has raised over $60,000.

2020 has been a year like no other - but we are bound and determined to do all we can for our community.  This year, on September 5th, parents will Circumnavigate separate sections of Whidbey Island - 160 miles of run, bike, and water!

Wait, there is more! - we invite any of you to run, bike, swim, hike, paddle, walk on September 5th and tell us about it on Facebook.

Fundraising to support the Community Foundation for Coupeville Public Schools

Founded in 1997, we provide an extra measure of support to Coupeville students in three major areas:
  • College Scholarships - Every year, thousands of dollars are awarded to graduating seniors.
  • Teacher Grants – In 2019-2020 school year, the Foundation funded 40 teacher grants for educational enrichment totaling over $30,000. Here are just a few examples: multiple field trips, classroom library books, support to the amazing new school lunch program, materials to build birdhouses, outdoor play areas, and enrichment material for the classroom.
  • Promise Fund- We provide financial resources for students in need to equally access activities and learning opportunities in our school district.

How can you help?

1. Help raise money for Coupeville students.
  • Click the red Donate button on this page or mail a check to: CFCPS, PO Box 1133, Coupeville WA 98239.
  • Your dollar will go further - We have a donor that will match every dollar donated to this fundraising campaign!
  • AND - For every $100 you donate, you will be entered into a raffle for a 2-night stay at the Ocean Bluff Farm Guesthouse in Coupeville for 2 people. For example, if you donate $500, you would be entered five times.  Check out the Ocean Bluff Farm, looking over the water and Olympics.  We will announce the winner September 5th at the conclusion of the effort - on Facebook Live.  You will be contacted if you won!
