We sat 46 for dinner Saturday night at the CPO Club.  Events started with some cocktails at 5pm and we wrapped up about 9:30.  Lots of fun was had by all with the dinner gift certificate, selected by drawing from the names that signed up in the first month, being won by John Gamble.  The highlight of the evening was an "around-the-room" session with all classmates giving a brief overview of what has happened in their post-CHS life but more importantly, what CHS and the town of Coupeville meant to them.  Talk abounded about the community pillars, -- Shermans, Clarks, Smiths, Engles..... and the importance of them, the Lions Club, Little League sports, our teachers and the effect it all had on our lives.

We gathered about 35 for the Picnic on Sunday with the usual fare of hotdogs and hamburgers with lots of homemade salads, chili, and cookies.  This was a much more intimate setting allowing the conversations to run deeper and longer.

We all agreed to have a "big deal" 50th reunion dinner and continue to have our annual reunions for those in the area the Friday night before the Arts and Crafts Fair.  I am going to try to keep track of everyone and publish a roster periodically.  I have asked everyone to put my name in their email address book so I will be notified of any changes.
