Cheerleading at Coupeville High School has been an integral part of the spirit in our school district since the 1930's. Over the years, many young ladies, and even some fine young men, have been a part of these cheer teams. The cheerleaders have worked hard to help bring victories to our athletic teams. The atmosphere of a game often affects the outcome for the teams. Similar to how the atmosphere of a room affects how we feel.....so too, the atmosphere at the football games and in the gymnasium affects how the athletes feel. When the tension is high, and the victory gets down to the wire, it is crucial that the athletes feel the support of the crowd. This is where the cheerleader's job becomes so important. Getting the crowd to stand to their feet and show their Wolf Pride is imperative! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
