Georgia O'Keefe and Ansel Adams worked together in the first half of the 20th century and explored the natural world through their paintings and photography. For this grant, students will complete three projects on Whidbey Island's natural environment using ideas gleaned from a study of O'Keefe and Adams. This money will pay for the framing and display of their products. Some will be displayed in the new display areas of the new high school and some will be exhibited at the All Island High School Art Show. Not all expenses will be covered by this grant. If you would like to contribute money, frames, or your time, contact Ms. McWilliams or click the Donate link above. |
