This project is designed to help students bring context to their study of the ancient Egyptians by experiencing the effort required to build the pyramids.

The funds will be used to purchase building materials to build a sledge like one used to move massive stone by the Egyptians in building the pyramids.  This be a team building as well as a fun activity to help students appreciate that history is real people doing real things, not just words on a page.
